Fence Stability Calculator

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Soros Limited ("we", "us" or "our") collects, uses and protects information when you use the Fence Stability application ("the App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information we collect

Account information: When you register, we collect your email address and a display name. These are used to identify your account and send you service-related communications such as password reset emails.

Assessment data: When you save an assessment, the inputs and results you enter (such as wind speed, fence type, panel dimensions, ground conditions and notes) are stored so you can reload and review them later. This data is linked to your account and is not visible to other users.

Payment information: If you purchase lifetime access, checkout is handled by Base44 Payments (powered by Wix). We do not receive or store your full card details. We retain a record of the transaction (order ID, status, amount and product) so we can verify your access entitlement.

Usage and device data: We may collect limited technical information such as browser type, device model, operating system version and app usage statistics to improve performance, fix bugs and understand how the App is used.

How we use your information

  • To create and manage your account and authenticate your access.
  • To store and retrieve your saved assessments.
  • To process and verify subscription or one-off payment entitlements.
  • To provide customer support and respond to enquiries.
  • To analyse usage trends and improve the App's features and stability.
  • To comply with legal obligations where required.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with the following categories of third-party service providers who process data on our behalf:

  • Base44 — provides the app platform, authentication, database hosting and backend infrastructure.
  • Base44 Payments / Wix — processes checkout and payment transactions securely.
  • Email delivery providers — deliver transactional emails such as verification codes and password resets.

These providers are bound by their own privacy and data protection terms and only process the data necessary to deliver the service. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect the rights, property or safety of our users or others.

Data retention

We retain your account information and saved assessments for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and associated data at any time from within the App, after which your personal data is removed from our systems. Transaction records may be retained for longer where required for accounting or legal purposes.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at enquiries@soroslimited.co.uk.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted authentication tokens and access controls that restrict saved assessments to the account that created them. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information using reasonable technical and organisational safeguards.

Children's privacy

The App is intended for professional use by adults in the construction and events industries. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date below and, where significant, notify you within the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
